Current Geographic Focus

Due to limited resources, we currently carry out our sustainable economic and social development work in three countries: Liberia, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan. In each of these nations, over 50% of the population lives below the poverty line, and child mortality rates remain among the highest globally. These stark indicators highlight not only the profound vulnerability and deprivation, but also the urgency for sustainable economic and social development.

We support development organisations worldwide that work in sustainable economic or social fields. Our funding is based on the following criteria.

1

Competence and impact

The organisation must have the expertise to develop and successfully implement tailored solutions focused on regions in need.

2

Local participation model

Projects are only funded if they are planned and carried out with the active involvement of local stakeholders (communities, local authorities). The aim is to create transparent, effective structures and to strengthen local ownership.

3

KPI-based reporting

The contribution to development must be shown with measurable key performance indicators (KPIs). Purely qualitative reports are not enough; effectiveness must be proven in measurable terms.

4

Financial transparency

Organisations must submit a detailed and transparent project cost calculation. Every cost item must be traceable, in line with market prices and appropriate.

5

Accountability

Organisations commit to comprehensive documentation. Regular impact reports must prove the progress and actual success of the measures.
